Anthony Imbesi*

Anthony Imbesi practises in the areas of construction and commercial litigation. He has extensive experience handling a wide range of construction related disputes, including lien claims, contract drafting and interpretation, procurement issues, and complex commercial disputes. Anthony represents clients before all levels of court as well as in arbitration proceedings.

In 2022, Anthony acted as Commission Counsel to the Honourable Justice William Hourigan on the Ottawa Light Rail Transit Public Inquiry. This high-profile public inquiry investigated the commercial and technical circumstances leading to breakdowns and derailments on Ottawa’s light rail transit system.

In addition to his practice, Anthony contributes regularly to construction industry publications and seminars, sharing his practical knowledge and legal perspective with industry professionals.

Anthony is known for his precise legal analysis, strong advocacy, and commitment to achieving effective, results-driven outcomes for his clients.

Outside of the office, Anthony enjoys music, sports, and travelling. Both he and his wife are avid scuba divers and enjoy exploring new diving locations.
