Allow us to introduce you to Mitchell Leitman – one of Rasmussen Starr Ruddy’s newest team members. With over 20 years’ experience in commercial and real estate law in Eastern Ontario, Mitchell is a seasoned lawyer practising in corporate, commercial and financing transactions, leasing and trust, and estate planning.
When asked why he chooses to work in these areas of law, his answer comes quickly. “I like dealing with real things– not the abstract. It also means I get to play in the dirt and see tangible outcomes. It’s very satisfying.”
Something else that is satisfying for Mitchell is his volunteer work as a board member with the Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation, a place that also provides him with gratifying outcomes. “The Foundation doesn’t simply help the elderly or disadvantaged”, says Mitchell. “They build and maintain long-term assets that strengthen the community at large – with results that are often life-altering.”
